Abstract

【課題】ウエット性能、耐摩耗性能をバランス良く向上する。 【解決手段】トレッド面2に設けられた横溝3は、タイヤ軸方向に対して角度θ1でのびる第1の部分3aと、タイヤ軸方向に対して角度θ2(≠θ1)でのびる第2の部分3bとを含むことにより第1の屈曲部5を有する。また横溝3は、第2の部分3bに連なりかつタイヤ軸方向に対して角度θ3(≠θ2)でのびる第3の部分3cを含むとにより第2の屈曲部6を有する。タイヤ新品時において、第1の屈曲部5及び第2の屈曲部6の折れ曲がり角度θa0 、θb0を30〜50゜とし、50%摩耗時における第1の屈曲部5及び第2の屈曲部6の折れ曲がり角度θa50、θb50は、前記角度θa0 、θb0の0.35〜0.65倍とする。さらに、タイヤ周方向で隣り合う横溝間をのびかつこれらの横溝3の第1の屈曲部5と第2の屈曲部6とを継ぐことにより、タイヤ周方向に対して傾く斜めの細溝4bが設けられる。 【選択図】図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the wet performance and the abrasion resistance performance of a pneumatic tire with excellent balance.SOLUTION: A lateral groove 3 formed at a tread surface 2 includes a first part 3a extending at an angle θ1 with respect to the tire axial direction, and a second part 3b extending at an angle θ2 (≠θ1) with respect to the tire axial direction thereby having a first bent part 5. The lateral groove 3 also includes a third part 3c which is continuous with the second part 3b and extending at an angle θ3 (≠θ2) with respect to the tire axial direction thereby having a second bent part 6. When a tire is a new one, the bend angles θa0, θb0 of the first bent part 5 and the second bent part 6 are set to be 30-50°. The bend angles θa50, θb50 of the first bent part 5 and the second bent part 6 at 50% abrasion are set to be 0.35-0.65 times the angles θa0, θb0. In addition, a narrow groove 4b is formed which extends between the lateral grooves adjacent to each other in the tire circumferential direction, and connects the first bent parts 5 to the second bent parts 6 of these lateral grooves 3, consequently is inclined with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
